The Almonte Civitan Club is undertaking a large-scale community project to build an accessible family playground in 2026.
The inclusive playground is designed to minimize physical and social barriers and includes a walking track where community members, in particular seniors, can maintain and improve their fitness and mobility in a safe environment.
It will be built on the grounds of the Civitan Hall on Ottawa Street.
We cannot undertake this exciting project without your help. Our goal is to raise $800,000 in the next 2 years. We are finally in a position to turn this long-time dream into reality. Please consider donating. Tax receipts will be issued for donations over $50.
